Braeside Compliance & Admin Support was set up to provide reliable remote administrative and compliance support to charities, social enterprises and small organisations.
The aim is simple: to provide extra capacity when it is needed, whether that is for a specific project, a busy period or ongoing support, without the need to employ an additional member of staff.
About me
I’m James Campbell, the owner of Braeside Compliance & Admin Support.
My background covers administration, compliance and operational support, together with earlier experience in environmental management. I previously worked for around five years as an Environmental Advisor, where I was responsible for developing and maintaining an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, supporting audits and managing environmental records and reporting.
More recently, my work has involved administration, compliance support, asset and operational records, spreadsheets, reporting and day-to-day organisational support.
Braeside brings those areas of experience together to provide practical, dependable support tailored to the needs of smaller organisations.
How I work
I provide support remotely and aim to keep things straightforward, organised and proportionate to what each client actually needs.
Work can range from a one-off piece of administration or project support through to regular ongoing assistance with records, spreadsheets, reporting or management-system administration.
Where specialist professional judgement is required — for example legal interpretation, certification decisions or formal Health & Safety advice — responsibility remains with the client and its appropriately qualified advisers.
Based in the Highlands, working remotely
Braeside is based in the Scottish Highlands and provides remote support to organisations across Scotland and the wider UK.
The business is registered with the ICO and carries Professional Indemnity, Public Liability and Cyber Insurance.
